About Men’s Work, TX

Men’s Work, TX (MWTX) exists to cultivate a culture of mature, compassionate, powerful, and grounded men in Texas.

We believe that when men have a space to bring their full selves—body, mind, heart, and spirit—they begin to heal, grow, and lead with greater integrity. MWTX provides that space: a safe and challenging environment where men can engage in the conversations that matter most.

Our Mission is simple and bold:

To create a culture of mature, compassionate, powerful, grounded men in Texas. We do this by offering structured, intentional containers for growth—where discomfort is welcomed, vulnerability is respected, and community is forged through honesty and presence.

Our Lens: Legacy & Emotional Maturity

We live at the intersection of legacy and choice.

We’ve inherited legacies from the generations before us—stories, behaviors, wounds, and beliefs about what it means to “be a man.” Some of these legacies serve us. Some don’t.

The work we do together in MWTX is about becoming emotionally mature enough to discern, heal, and choose—so we can consciously shape the legacy we leave behind.

Emotional maturity gives us the agency to live by intention rather than inheritance.

The Labyrinth: Our Seasonal Curriculum

Each Fall and Spring, members of MWTX journey through a shared curriculum we call The Labyrinth. A Labyrinth is a single, winding path used as a metaphor for inner work. Unlike a maze, it has no dead ends—just one way in and one way out, guiding you toward deeper self-understanding.—Our labyrinth is a cycle of conversations and practices centered around emotional growth, relational depth, and masculine integration.

Topics We Explore:

  • Avoidance & Connection (Fireside – open to non-members)

  • Pain & Our Reactions

  • Anger & Root Emotions

  • Family of Origin

  • Connection Break (In-person gathering – members only)

  • Mindfulness

  • Roles We Play

  • Sexuality

  • Embodiment Camp (In-person – open to non-members)

These are not lectures or workshops—they’re embodied experiences, facilitated by men who are doing the work themselves.

Meet the Player-Coaches (Founders)

At MWTX, we believe the most powerful leadership doesn’t come from above—it comes from alongside. That’s why we’re led by player-coaches: men who are in the work themselves, not just teaching it. This model rejects the illusion of hierarchy in favor of relational integrity. A player-coach leads not because he has mastered the path, but because he’s actively walking it—with honesty, humility, and courage. In a culture where many men have been shaped by distant authority or performative leadership, we choose something different: mutual accountability, shared vulnerability, and a commitment to grow together.
